Hydrotherapy

Let's talk about Hydrotherapy.

Hydrotherapy is performing exercises in a pool of water which is very beneficial for improvement of muscle strength, coordination, endurance and balance.

Hydrotherapy often makes easier to exercise than on dry land because the buoyancy of the water helps to support body weight, which can relieve pressure on joints, reduce pain and facilitates the movement of joints &muscles rather than restricting it, as on dry land.

Last summer I spent some of  my time in water for hydrotherapy. Each and every time after hydrotherapy I felt improvements in my body . That was like wow feeling..

Unfortunately I couldn't make it happen regular but whenever I went for hydrotherapy, improvements followed me.

I am really very happy with my improvements in finger movement, in hyperextension of knees, footdrops, balance issue, sitting to standing and alot more which are very satisfying.
Hydrotherapy is fabulous.

So what kind of hydrotherapy I did in water?Nothing new,all same exercises that we do while doing regular exercises in land. Best thing is that what we can't do in land,we can do in water. Thanks to weightlessness of water.

Despite of improvements, being in water has its own benefit like provides relaxation, helps to create sound mind, happy environment which delights our mind along with heart .

Being a GBS patient,I have been seeing what is better for me and what ends well for my improvements.

Basic regular exercises are core whereas hydrotherapy has resulted me with lots of improvements.
So yes, I do suggest hydrotherapy for those with stable condition of GBS/ CIDP patient for speedy recovery.
